This image is part of a sequence which symbolically depicts the regeneration of Izdubar. The entire sequence depicts the rebirth of God in Jungโs soul, and represents a renewal of life and vitality.
The inner forms are similar to those in the sphere in Image 69, suggestingย that this represents the bursting of the egg.
